The Application of Fractal and Chaos Theory in Solar Physics

The important results of the application of fractal and chaos theory in solar physics are given in this paper. The main contents are: the revealing of the chaotic solar activitys the solar non-linear dynamo theory; the fractal description of the solar magnetic field and the research of the self-organized criticality of the energe releasing manner in solar flare. Finally, the forecasting of such application in the future is also given.
